Listen up, if your best friends walked out on you once, they’ll walk out on you again. You need real friends who will NEVER walk out on you, and if they have to choose, they’ll make it work between hanging out with you AND the other person you’re not cool with but who is part of the group, and not exclude you completely.

And for the longest time, I was stupid and blind. I didn’t want to believe how my friends were treating me. I stood up for them when people said my friends were treating me horribly. I made up excuses as to why they never included me anymore, why they barely talked to me. But you know what, I don’t need anyone who doesn’t need me. If you’re going to treat me like that, then keep on walking, because I’m not going to run after you guys anymore, I’m not going to wait and hope you guys come around.

It’s NOT all about your friends, it’s also about YOU. Don’t waste your time waiting, caring, and believing in people who have turned their backs on you. Don’t fight for them, because by cutting you out & walking out, they’re NOT fighting for you. And don’t force people to stay when they don’t want to be there, you’re wasting your time. “Waste” your time on the people who have your back, who support you, and who will never abandon you.

Life is too precious to be wasted away, so don’t do it. Don’t dread on people, don’t wait around being depressed. Sometimes we lose things only to receive something better. Chapters in our lives end, but new chapters are waiting to begin. And if we stay too long within a chapter, how will we move on in our adventure? There’s so much life has yet to offer! There more characters, and more life changing events waiting to begin. I know it’s hard to let go and move on, but perhaps that’s how it’s meant to be. People are put into our lives for a reason, to mold us, to challenge us, to help us grow or maybe to try to hold us back so we can find our inner strength and dependence, and so forth. And once their purpose is completed, they leave us, and other people come in again to assist us in our journey and our growth.
